Painfully, this is not the only photograph. It is part of a collection that is growing online by the hour. And the truth is that it is much more than a photograph… it is the record of a vile, child-rapist and he or she will share this “trophy” with hundreds of others.
But worse still, it not hidden away on some obscure, offshore website. It’s on Facebook. Yes, you read that right. Facebook.
The truth is that most of the 600 million users of Facebook probably consider Facebook to be well-patrolled and safe from such content. The vast majority of Facebook users, from parents to major corporations, NGO’s, politicians and even the President of the United States, have no idea that Facebook is home to a massive collection of unreported child pornography and sexual 
violence.
So, the question is this: If Facebook has the human and technological resources to topple governments and shift human history shouldn’t it be able to prevent sexually explicit and abusive images of children – some only newborns from being placed on their system?
And why is it that law enforcement from State Police forces to the FBI report to us that Facebook is “most uncooperative” when it comes to working with them to stop this criminality?
